Deepest sympathy to the Conboye family on the death of Frances. We’ve been friends since I came to Cork in the late sixties.. Our daughter Trish was lucky to have grinds from Frances in Latin & Irish. A wonderful friend. Frances may your kind & gentle soul rest in peace..

I have lovely memories of Frankie who had immense patience when teaching me Latin for my leaving cert. Later I loved meeting her in Henchys where herself and Kevin were regulars along with my late father and many others. She was so witty and smart - the very best of company. Rest in peace with your beloved Kevin now Frankie.

I am saddened to see this news. Always enjoyed Frances and her wit, had regular chats while my Mother was also a resident of Laney in BCNU. What life stories she had. May she rest in peace.
