I wish you Greg and Gary my heartfelt sympathy to-day - I am so saddened to read of the death of Frances. We were very good friends for so many years, until life took over and we lost touch a while back. I have such great memories of our lunches in The Art Gallery or in Kilkenny Design through the years when we would have wonderful chats, heart-to-hearts about absolutely everything - a really great friendship - she was such an interesting person, and so interested in everything also. Wonderful! May she Rest in Peace.

I first met Frances at five years old when I was lucky enough to have her as a teacher in Manor House. Later, in NCAD when Greg found out she had taught me, it cemented our friendship and Frances suddenly turned from ex-teacher to cool mum! We always had a great laugh at her house! She had a great enthusiasm for life and a positivity about her. She was stylish, loved the arts and supported me as an artist by coming to my shows from the early days on. Frances was genuinely interested in what we were all up to and she was great company. Deepest sympathy to Greg, Gary, Colette and all the family, thinking of you all.
Deepest Condolences to the family and friends of Frances Delaney. She was a dear friend of my parents and family and in my primary school years gave up time to help me progress, which I will always remember and be grateful for. Such a kind, gentle soul. May Mrs Delaney RIP.
My deepest condolences Greg, Gary, Colette, and Frances' grandchildren on the really sad death of Frances. She was an amazing lady, with great spirit and fortitude, and such a kind, loyal and wonderful friend to my Mum RIP, Monica Vaughan. Mum thought the absolute world of Frances. As did I. Her proudest achievement were you, her boys, Greg and Gary. She spoke so much about you both for the nearly 50 years that I knew her. She idolised you both- and her darling sister Colette. Sending the three of you a big hug. Take care of yourselves, and of each other in the coming months. Lots of love, Áine Vaughan xx
So very sad to hear the news of Frances' passing. She was a good friend to both my parents & an incredible role model to me. Frances was way ahead of her time in teaching & handed on so many of her teaching materials & resources to me which I still use today. She was so incredibly proud of all her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a compassionate, accepting and loving friend, mentor, teacher, wife, sister, mother & grandmother. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílís.

My deepest sympathy to Gary, Greg and the Delaney and Daly families on the passing of Frances. She was a fabulous woman. She taught my daughter in Holy Faith and she was a very kind and caring teacher. She was highly respected. She also had a great wit and was terrific company. May Frances Rest in Peace now.
Mrs Delaney was my Junior Infants teacher in Holy Faith Clontarf - I was 3 when I was in her class. She was such a kind, gentle lady. I loved bumping into her subsequently in Nolans and around Clontarf. My late aunt Sr Breda Lynch was in school with her when they were little - she always remembered and asked about her. May she rest peacefully now - a life well lived.
