It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Fran. Even though I call her Fran here she will always be Mrs Manning to me. I will always remember her as being a fantastic neighbour and friend with a great sense of fun and laughter. My abiding memory is one of she standing at the wall/wire between our houses and she chatting away with my mother about the news of the day. She was really a wonderful woman of whom I have nothing but the fondest of memories. May she rest in peace.
