To Aileen & Christine, Denise, Barbara, and Philippa, I had not realised Frances had passed away until seeing the acknowledgement in the paper today. I would like to express my sincere condolences to you and hope good memories will help sustain you at this sad time.

I am so saddened to hear of Fran's passing. We had so many chats over the years and she was a wonderful listener. It was a pleasure to know her and to visit the cottage. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to Aileen and Fran's wider family.

I was so sorry to hear about Fran’s passing today and my heart goes out to Aileen and her sisters. Although we had not been close in recent years, we spent a lot of time together previously and she was so kind to let us stay at her house when I did a locum in Dublin years ago. Her sense of adventure, and her strength of personality were truly amazing, as well her kindness. Those characteristics will remain with us, and she will be seriously missed.

Deepest condolences to Aileen and all of Fran’s family.
I met Fran by chance nearly 40 yrs ago. We struck up an instant rapport which grew into a wonderful friendship, despite having very little in common. At the time I had yet to find my pathway in life. Frans encouragement and support led me to a very successful career in Nursing, something I never even dreamed I could achieve. For this, I will be forever grateful to her. Fran was a kind, loving, caring and supporting friend to me, and for the last 28yrs to my now husband Michael. Michael and I will miss her greatly and think of her often. May she rest in peace.

Dear Christine,Denise, Barbara and Philippa, we both send our sincerest sympathies at Frances' passing. We had heard of her illness and the difficult times she had to endure and hope that it the end she did find peace. We are very sorry that we will not be able to get to Mt. Jerome on Saturday but circumstances make it impossible for us to get to Dublin that day.
