I'm very sad to hear this news, RIP dear Fran. I knew Fran from my Dublin days. Full of life, full of fun and always a joy to be with. She achieved so much in her short life. Thinking of you all and sending strength for the weeks and months ahead.

I am so saddened to hear of Fran’s passing. We never met but were friends on Instagram and often shared book recommendations. I loved her recipes too - they always looked great. I first met Fran during our college days in UCD when she was living in Leeson Village. Fran was the quintessential lady- intelligent, fun, kind, gentle, strong, brave with a brilliant mind and calm and composed demeanor. She was always a pleasure to be around. I am so very sorry to hear of Frans untimely passing.

To all the Walsh family, my sincerest condolences on the passing of your beautiful daughter and sister Frances. Frances was such a witty, fun-loving person who gave her all in everything she did. I got to know Frances through the civil service graduate programme when she joined the Department of Health. She was such a committed and passionate work colleague who gave her all in the Cancer Policy Unit and we had many a good AO night out. Frances was so kind and giving to others and to me on many occasions, I will dearly miss our insta chats - may she rest in eternal peace xx
