Fran was my godmother and greatly loved next door neighbour of the Butler family when we lived on Rugby Road in Ranelagh.

To all the Hannon family, it was with great sadness that I learnt of the passing of your dear Mum, she was a true lady who always had time to stop and say hello as she walked around the neighbourhood. Like all her neighbours who have gone before her she stood for all that is good in people and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Frances passing. She was a beautiful person with a great personality and will be missed.., may her gentle soul rest in peace xx
