I have many great memories as a young boy going to Loughman's in Queen Street on holidays during the summer and Frances looking after me like one of her own . Frances loved to meet and chat to people, full of energy and kindness . When Frances would come to Ayle she loved going for her walk around the block early in the morning . Rest in peace Frances .

At Mrs L’s removal tonight it was lovely to reconnect with my old friends The Loughman’s. It was inspiring to hear the stories of her life and how much of a part the lovely lady played in all of your lives. Frances loved people, loved social occasions but most of all, she loved family.
Loosing her husband Patrick so early in life can’t have been easy but she coped and just got on with it. Marie was four and a half when her dad died.
Thinking of that is heartbreaking, and then you think of Helena, Ann , Frances and Patrick who had stronger memories and were more aware of the tragic situation, your mothers hardworking, dedication and love helped no end in lessening the devastating loss of their lovely dad at such a young age.
Mrs Loughman, you were a legend, may you RIP GOOD WOMAN.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your mum and Nana. She was so incredibly loved, and I know how much you will all miss her.

Nathan, it was such a pleasure to meet her first at your debs and then finally at wedding, what a beautifully full circle moment for you to have had her at such special moments. She looked incredibly happy and full of light that she was able to be there as part of your day. It’s a beautiful memory to hold onto.

She always had a lovely smile on her face & such a pleasant lady to be around. Always enjoyed our chats when she would stop at reception on her way back in from taking a walk around the gardens of Cedar House or saying a few prayers in the Chapel. May she rest in peace.
