My heartfelt condolences to everyone mourning Fran’s passing. She was a truly wonderful, kind, and gentle lady. I had the privilege of knowing her through our volunteer work with the SVP, where her goodness and deep Christian charity shone brightly in the compassionate way she supported those in need.

So sorry to here of frans passing..she was an Amazing lovely lady..my condolance to her stepchildren and to sheehan famlies in Tannersrath. Fran was always so noligable and a helping hand on the hospice committee.... rest in peace fran x majella sean grace and mark

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Fran. She was a lady, kind and caring and always warm and welcoming, I loved meeting her for a chat. I remember Fran from when she worked in St Joseph's Hospital Clonmel, an exceptional nurse, one of a kind, that we will never encounter again, who was the true fabric/character of the hospital at that time and will be dearly missed by all who her.

Fran is finally with all her brothers, she always said she was cross with them for going before her! She loved her Hume family very much, and got the chance to have a second loving family with her husband Tom and the Sheehans. All her life, she was a trailblazer for women, doing things that would be considered 'very modern' at the time, or very dangerous for a woman her age - like jumping out of a plane for a charity! Fran has lived a long and most interesting life, taking care of those around her who she loved. We all have lovely memories of her. May she now celebrate with all those she loved who left ahead of her, and may she reap the rewards of a life well lived.

Very saddened to learn of the passing of Fran. She was the kindest lady one could wish to meet.
My family experienced her kindness at first hand when she was a hospice nurse to my late Aunty Molly.
