Though it saddens me that I had only such a short time in meeting you, my uncle in law. I am so grateful that I did. I sensed a spirit in you that was familiar and warm. Thank you for that and I will long hold onto the memory of you playing the banjo for us just a month ago. You called me Christi, I thought it was hilarious as I called you Franci. I’m grateful you are not in pain good man. You’re free, and in another life shall all of your beautiful people you shared life with see you again. It’s not goodbye but see you later. Rest easy and fly well beautiful soul.

Since i first heard the very sad news of Frans passing i cant stop thinking of him,i have been reliving in my mind all the great times we had from the session in youngs pub when Fran would collect Gavin and myself to drive us to the session an then the time we went on tour to Arklow and we were advertised on the door of the pub as Dublins answer to the Chieftains iam sure Christine would rember those great times and Dan and Niamh would remember the early sunday session in youngs please accept our very deepest sympathy at this very sad time

Francis was a really decent, fun loving fella, who loved the craic, he was also a great musician and I have very fond memories of him playing "Sweet Sixteen" and "The Green Fields of France" on the banjo in Ballyfermot when I was young. Christine Daniel & Niamh there is no words to describe the passing of Fran what a super Brother In Law he is and as Ive no doubt how good a husband and father he was he will be truly missed by us both especially..
To the holidays we shared and many hotel stays over the years at different weddings always amazing company, and not to forget all the Christmas Days we shared together as family not to forget the bingo sessions ..
Then in the later years the visits to Mohill was always so nice having ye visit and stay over with us it was amazing and we now treasure the great memories we made..
