Dear Mrs Cooke and family, we are very sorry to hear of Mr Cooke’s passing. You are in our thoughts at this most difficult time. We remember Mr Cooke as a very kind and considerate man who would always give of his time. David remembers his over generous whiskies and his inside track on Leeds United. You were both very kind and always looked out for Betty particularly in her latter years. Rest in peace Mr Cooke.

Dear Mrs Cooke, Bertha, Frank Junior, Sandra, Paula and all the family we are deeply sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Cooke. We know he gladly lived for, was proud of and loved you guys very much. We have such fond memories of him. As a genuine caring person we will never forget him, his hospitality or his rose bushes. It is with a lán gratitude we thank him and you Mrs Cooke for your caring friendship to our family and especially to our mother for so many years. Joan we are all very saddened to hear about Franks passing. Also to Bertha Frank Junior, Sandra and Paula. What a gorgeous happy man your dad was. Always had time for people especially my Sister Pat next door. She loved her chats with Frank and Joan especially when her husband Jim passed away and when she was in the nursing home. Never forgotten by them both.
Thank you for all your kindness to her it was very much appreciated. It was an honour to have known one of life’s loveliest people. Sleep in peace Frank.

Very sorry to hear of Frank’s sad passing. I have lovely memories of growing up in St Assam’s in the 1960’s. Frank and Joan and all the Cooke’s were very much part of it. Football was our passion and Frank helped fuel it for so many of us. Even as kids we saw him as a gentleman! He was kind, generous and always great fun.
