Sorry to hear of your passing , Frank. You were a wonderful artist. It was a privilege to have known you. We shared many ideas and we used to look forward to the many meetings and snacks that we had over the years.
You designed the covers of the books and publications that we authored. Your advice was sound and your door was always open to those that needed guidance.

We were very shocked today to hear of his passing. Franck was a very good friend of ours and we will miss him.
A fellow artist and terrific photographer and musician he will be a big loss to the Athenry artistic community. He had such a great knowledge of local history and of the history of the showband era.
May his soul rest in peace.

I spoke to Frank several times on the phone i collect the showband handouts he was very helpful and sent me a picture of the swingtime aces which he was a member of that showband also he wrote great articles in the Ireland own and his book was brilliant may his gentle soul rest in peace

I wish to sympathise with the Kennedy family on the very sad passing of Frank. I have many wonderful memories of playing in the band with Frank and Derek, best times ever, all the laughs we had. Frank was a wonderful guitarist, singer, Artist, D,J. writer and comedian, so many talents and such an amazing person. I'll miss all our wonderful chats and laughter. Rest in peace dear friend.

Shocked and saddened to learn of Frank's passing. Visited with him on many occasions, had chats about the showbands, various musicians etc and the 10 minute visit would end up being at least an hour!! Sincere sympathy to all the Kennedy family on their sad loss. May he rest in peace.

I read of Frank's sudden exit from this Valley of Tears in shock and sorrow. What an extraordiary man was Frank, and he freely shared his multi-talents with the wider community. And all this done without any fanfare or show off. His tenure on the staff of the Claddagh N.S. was a high point in his career. Of Frank, it can be truly said "Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann." Deepest condolences to all his family, relatives and friends.
