It is with deep sadness that I learned today of Francis' death. As they navigate this journey of grief and loss, my thoughts are with Mireille and his sons, Gallahad and Conor, of whom Francis always spoke so highly. I loved Francis’ writer's spirit, his wonderful sense of humour and his keen sense of how to look at the world. I will miss our many conversations as we talked about plotting out novels and stories. The dead are not dead but alive in the hearts of us who loved them. Safe home, my friend.
