I was absolutely shocked to hear today of the tragic death of Frank Barrett. Frank was an absolute gentleman in the real sense of that word. I consider myself fortunate to have known him and will always have good memories of him.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to his family on their terrible loss. May he rest in peace.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by this news. We so loved hanging out with Frank and his wonderful family in New Zealand that wonderful summer of Lucy and Francis' wedding. Teaukura has since been very impressed with Frank's bowling! We send all of you special people our sincerest love and prayers. You are like family to us.

I am deeply saddened by this tragic event. Frank Barrett was a great man and a loving man. He was loved and revered by all who knew him. I am sorry I cannot be there to farewell Frank and give support to my favourite Irish family. We are thinking of you all.
