loved Ireland and being Irish all that it means

We mourn the passing of Frankie Barron, a man of many talents, not least the capability to spin a yarn, sing a tune and captivate an audience, In years gone by he might have been classed as a bard.
As with all talented people he had his personal demons which he fought valianty.
Everyone who knew Frank appreciated him for the character that he was. Even in the darkest times he could tell a joke that would lift the room from despondency to laughter at the drop of a punchline. I'm going to miss him, with his very few faults and foibles and it's my sincerest wish that he sits at the right ear of God, banging away on the Bodhran and getting copious amounts of Guinness if only he'll promise to stop battering the goat!
Francis Barron, I salute you, until we meet again by a pleasant shore.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Frank he will be sadly missed by so many. He was held in high esteem by my family & I. We all at various times went to see Frank & Scott at Scruffy Murphys & later we went to see to Frank at the Hurlers where he still managed to put on a great show even after his accident. He was always laughing and telling jokes and it was evident that he was warmly appreciated and loved by so many. Frank and Scott both entertained me on my 60th Birthday at Scruffy Murphys and later that night returned with us to Calpe by coach, staying with our friends for the remainder of the night and again entertaining nearly a 100 of us at the Metro bar in Calpe the following day. They were brilliant as always, probably better with a few pints in them. Frank never had or wanted much but gave loads. R. I. P. Frank I will always remember you playing the Bodhran and crooning, I can still hear you now. Frank you will always be in our hearts. You were and are a credit to your family. Rest In Peace my friend.
