My deepest sympathies to all Frank's family at this sad time. I have great memories of Frank from our days in Social Welfare, Oisin House. He was a lovely man, always cheerful and good company.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Frank for the past seven years, but one couldn't but be moved by spending time in his company. There were so many inspirational things about him but undoubtedly the greatest was his refusal to take "No" for an answer. I hope all is as it should be in the wild flower garden up above because if it's not Frank won't be long about telling them! Rest easy my friend.

Francis was a brave and courageous man who fought his illness with as much dry humour as possible. He was admired and liked by myself and my Dad who met him in Beaumont Lodge. He will never be forgotten.
