We were shocked to hear of Frank's passing We knew Alison and Frank for more than 40 years and were often at parties at their home and met often at the NCH. We had a great admiration for them both. Even though I only worked there for little more than a year, Frank was the kind of man one remembered for his ability, leadership, courtesy and good humour: in short, his charisma. Along with my wife Mary, I had the pleasure of meeting Frank occasionally over the years that followed and it was always a delight to be at the receiving end of the warmth of his personality. May his noble soul rest in peace.
