We were very sorry to learn of Frank's death, please accept our deepest and sincerest condolences. My mother Lola was an only child so she more or less adopted Frank (her First Cousin) as a brother and they enjoyed many childhood holidays together and consequently lifelong friends. We have many great memories of Frank, who was well able to tell a joke against himself, he had a wonderful sense of fun, wit and humour. One of the more memorable stories he told us was when he and Elizabeth were attending our wedding in Nenagh, they were sitting in St Mary's Catholic Church, sat in the pew looking around and not recognising any people, until the priest spoke of Michael and Margaret getting married! They quickly left the church and entered St. Mary's Church of Ireland Church which is next door, where they were on time for ours! May he rest in peace, every time I think of him he puts a smile on my face.

Wonderful memories of our times together going back to his 40 th birthday.
He partnered my mother Mary Barry at bridge and they were a formidable pair.

Dear Elizabeth,
I wish to offer my sincere condolences concerning Frank's passing.
He was always understanding, had a great sense of humour and there was no problem that didn't end without a word of friendship or good cheer.
Indeed I recall moments in Morans and whether one would on this occasion drive the ball across the weir.
Who can forget the three tens handed down by the famous Judge Duffy if I remember correctly.
And you were always by his side - a gentleman whose memory I cherish despite the passing years.
God bless to you and all the family.
May he rest in peace.

It is with great sadness that we learned of Frank’s passing. May He Rest In Peace. Sincere condolences to Elizabeth and all the family. I have many happy memories of Frank, particularly associated with Co Galway Cricket Club. He was a crafty spin bowler and a great teammate. He had a super statistical encyclopedic cricket brain which he used to mystify all who thought they had superior cricket knowledge. We enjoyed cricket tours to Shropshire and we shared some excellent gourmet meals with the late Joe Lyster. I know he would appreciate me raising a glass of the best available vintage port in his memory! 🏏
