My sincere sympathies to all the family. Uncle Frank was very close to my mother, Mary who only had good words to say about him, and loved him very much. In later life they shared some good times on cruises along with my father, Norman.
Dear Yvonne and Frank
We were very saddened to hear of your father's passing. May he rest in peace with your wonderful mother Frances.
He was a great friend of our family particularly my Uncle Willie and my mother Mary Rose Hayes. He was a great follower of my mother's breeding and training exploits, as well as my grand-mother, Maeve Robinson, before that. We always met at Leopardstown races and his amazing smile, good humour and infectious laugh did you good to see. He was always interested in what we and our two girls had been up to since our last meeting.
We are very sorry we could not attend his funeral to offer you our sympathies in person.
Deepest condolences to you and all members of the Colgan family. Be assured, he was a very much liked gentleman who will be sadly missed by many.

Sincere condolences to the Colgan family on Frank's passing. He was a true gentleman. Frank was a good friend of my deceased father, John Moore of Dingle, and between the two of them, you came to understand that Clongowes of the early 50s wasn't the cold drab place some would have you believe. I used to get immense pleasure from meeting Frank while racing where we'd swap stories and tips. He put me onto Winter at a good price in the Newmarket 1,000 Guineas in 2017, so I am forever in his debt! May Frank Rest in Peace.
To the Colgan family,

My sincere condolences on the death of Frank. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis,

Josepha
