Frankie, we were inseperatable teenage friends before you left for Dublin and never came back. When I eventually finished up there some years later, I couldn never find a way of contacting you, but I never stopped thinking of you, until I eventually found you in RIP. It was great to meet your many friends and workmates at your funeral and hear about the good and happy life that you had. My deepest sympathy to your sisters, Mary, Pauline and Betty, and your brothers Denis and Martin, as well as your many good friends in Dublin. Thank you for the friendship and good memories you shared with me and so many others. May you find a safe and peaceful harbour.

Sincere sympathy to Mary, Pauline, Betty, Denis and Martin on the death of Frank. It was a privilege to be at Frank's funeral Mass yesterday and to hear of how he was so highly thought of and loved in Drumcondra. The Mass was lovely as was the singing and the playing of Christy Moore's Ordinary Man was very appropriate given all that I had heard about Frank at the Mass and read in the condolences. Frank's Auntie Teresa (who was always very good to the Walsh family) also liked a Jameson but it could only be a Jameson Redbreast. Rest in peace Frank.

early sixties and we always enjoyed his company ,always in good form and loved the horses and like us all kept the bookies happy.
