Sincere Sympathy to Bernadette, Mary,Berney and the extended Eivers family on the Passing of their beloved Frank. Frankie was a lovely gentle young lad when I knew him all of seventy years ago. The Eivers home was nearest to the Fairgreen where as youngsters we spent a lot of our time trying to play hurling on the uneven ground. Mrs Eivers was a great woman God Bless her and many’s the crying and bloodied young fella she patched up. I can still hear Dad Barneys exclamation—O Lord O Lord. May the Light of Heaven shine brightly on them all. R.I.P.,.
