Frank Feighan

We were very lucky to meet such a gift to mankind. I first met Frank( Sean) in Newport while on a rugby trip in 81.We formed a friendship that Maggie and I cherished and still do. We were fortunate that we got to meet with him at the beginning of June in Springfield-Cregg where we again had great craic with him Mikie and George. Our thoughts are with you Mikie, Addie Sean Patrick and all the Feighan family. Rest in peace old pal .

Enjoyed meeting up with Frank on our early morning walks at Cregg.
He Loved chatting about the Rover's and would regularly reminisce about great Sligo players of days gone bye, Johnny Armstrong and Louis Dykes to mention but a few.
Likewise he would regularly recall growing up in Charles's St and playing football for a team managed by Maimie OShea who was another great character of Sligo.
