So sad to hear of the passing of my friend Frank. He was a great companion and great craic in the years I knew him in Portugal and sipping the local Sagres beer in our little local Jasmine bar in Luz. He will be missed indeed by many and of course those new friends he made in this small town of Luz Portugal. May you rest in Peace. I always enjoyed your humour and stories of your motoring exploits over the many decades.

Very saddened to hear of Franks passing, yet glad to have known him since the 1970s. He loved competing in the Galway rallies, and with great success, and then on the Retros and Historic rallies. Held in very high regard as a sporting competitor and a gentleman, Frank will be missed by many. My condolences to Kay and family, may he rest in peace
So sorry on hearing of Franks passing. I last spoke with him in my father Leslie’s house on his passing. We spoke at length about all things motor sport in the 70s and 80s and the competition between himself and my dad. He was an absolute gentleman and will be missed by family and friends alike.

Kay,Frankie and Isobel …. Thinking of you all and sending our love and prayers at this difficult time.
Condolences on your loss Kay. There will be a void that will never be filled.
It's hard to put into words how much Frank will be missed. He was one of my leading lights in Irish Motorsport, always ready to comment on your mistakes but equally joyous in your success. When he called you "She"you knew to watch out, if you had "gone shopping" everyone knew you had messed things up. Life and soul is an often overused term but here soul should be in bold. Everyone will miss Frank, his commentary and humour, his ready wit and massive experience. I will miss him because I enjoyed his company.
Rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Kay, Isobel and Frankie on the passing of your beloved Frank.
I had the great pleasure of meeting Frank at various car shows in recent years and we struck up a strong bond. Indeed earlier this year, we spent a lovely afternoon having a very leisurely lunch in Dun Laoghaire which was spent chatting and mostly me listening to Frank's fantastic stories and his innate modesty. We did promise to repeat it but sadly time got away on us. Frank was truly one of life's gentle men and a gentleman. He could talk his way out of anything and everything all with a graceful smile and a glint in his eye! Rest easy, my dear friend. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
