Sincere sympathy to the extended Fleming family on your sad loss.Always a pleasure to be in Frank's company.May he Rest in Peace
I was so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. I had the pleasure of renting from him in Middlethird in the early to mid 00s, and in those years I came to know him as a true gentleman. We often broke the garage window playing soccer on the lawn back then, and Frank would always smile, say he’d get it sorted, and gently remind us to maybe aim somewhere else! We were just lads in our early twenties starting out on our working lives, and he understood that. I will always remember his kindness, good humour, and sound nature. RIP Frank.
I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing and disappointed that I could not attend the funeral.
I worked for him for some years; he was a tough taskmaster but he was caring and soft behind it all. He cared deeply for the less fortunate. His fundraising prowess was legendary.
Suaimhneas Dé air.

Sincere sympathies to Orla and all the Fleming family, I'm very sorry for your loss.
My sympathies to Frank's family, nieces and nephews on his sad passing. A larger than life personality, who I had heard off long before we first met, we always enjoyed our conversations at the various Cairde Maigheo events. Frank's was certainly an iconic figure and will be mourned and rememberered by many but we are especially thinking of his family at this time. Ar dheis de.
Our sincere condolences to Dave and Carol and all of the Fleming on the passing of Frank. May he rest in peace.
Dear Flemings,
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Frank, we were only chatting on the phone a few weeks back, which was always an interesting conversation.
He was quite frankly some man, a force, the type of which I don't think we see anymore. If he asked you to do something, sure you couldn't refuse him, partly because he'd not accept no for and answer and partly because he'd do anything for you if needed.
If you ever showed doubt in doing anything his reply was always, "Sure why wouldn't you?".
The fun I had as a kid playing golf when he'd visit in various places be it, Cavan or Rosslare and then later the rounds in Woodbrook, and I could never beat him, he'd have me mentally beaten by the second!!!.
I'm so sorry I can't be there, but I'm overseas at the moment.
Mayo has lost one of its finest, and may he Rest in Peace.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

My deepest sympathies to the Fleming family
Frank was an extraordinary man.
It is impossible to look at his photo without hearing his voice. A voice of wisdom, knowledge, confidence and humour.
He was a man that would search the bars of Dublin on a Friday afternoon in order to find his solicitor and business partner in order to scold them for not being at work.
He was a man that always had a plan. He could see the outcome ten steps in advance.
I will miss the chats. When took a deep breath, you knew something profound or humorous was about to be imparted on you. You would need to be quick with any retort.
He was part of a unique generation, he a large group of genuinely close friends. They kept in touch without modern technology, and made time for each other. I was also lucky to have spent so much time with all of them.
The king of logistics, a giant in the word of fundraising, the pioneer in fire safety, a footballer, a proud Mayo man….
However, more importantly, a loving husband and profoundly proud father/grandfather
Frank & Kay will be missed by so many.

On behalf of all the members, past and present, of Civil Service GFC I would like to offer the Fleming family our deepest condolences on your sad loss. Frank was a dearly loved and highly respected of our club over many decades and made an outstanding contribution both on and off the field of play; as an administrator and innovator he was without parallel. Frank’ s contribution was best described in the words of his great friend and our former Chairperson, Tom Crotty (RIP) in the pages of our club’s history:
“Frank masterminded the club’s six unforgettable trips to the United States, Canada and Hawaii.
“It is fair to say that without his guile, expertise and guidance…many Civil Service footballers would not have savoured the pleasure of playing our games in cities as far apart as New York and San Francisco, Montreal and Los Angeles, Toronto and Chicago.
“Without his vision and ‘never say die’ approach [they] might never had the opportunity to visit and forge friendships in such places as Seattle, Boston, Hartford, Honolulu, Vancouver and Las Vegas.
To Frank, our club owes a deep debt of gratitude as, indeed, does the Association for the benefits reaped from his undoubted ambassadorial talents and organisational skills; and for a lifetime of dedication to Cumann Lúthcleas Gael both as a player and administrator.”
Suaimhneas síoraí go raibh aige agus ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

I am heartbroken 💔 to hear that Frank has passed away 🥲. A Mayo man thru and thru to the core. He was my friend for over 20 years, chatting regularly and he loved nothing more than finding out the 'news' in Mayo. Frank adored Kay and all his family, and he truly adored Mayo. I will miss my dear friend, the regular calls and long chats. Farewell Frank, give a hug to Kay and guide Sam back to us some day 🙏💚❤️
As Frank would always finish his calls, 'Goodbye and Conduct Yourself'. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend 🥰.
