We are all sad to hear of Francie's death which occurred so soon after the passing of his beloved wife Dolly R.I.P.. Our family (Sherlock) in Collon have happy memories of Francie who was so kind to our brother Pat when he was very young and was being bullied in the school playground. Francie saw this and immediately rescued him and raising him on his shoulders he carried him away from his assailants. We lost contact but his kindness lived on. May his gentle soul rest in peace. This is indeed a very sad time at Mollyrue, gone are the times of the
good Hallowe'en parties with the spread of goodies from Dolly and
the bonfire manned by Frank.
God works in mysterious ways, not always in the giving but sometimes
in the taking away, and this Hallowe'en He has taken Frank to be with Dolly
in His Heavenly home.

I only became aware of the situation when I read your dad's death notice properly after I had sent my condolences yesterday. I was in Collon on Wednesday afternoon at Jackie Devlin's wake and you were uppermost in my mind for some reason or another. Do you recall our days in Merrion Street, 40 years ago. Take care Audrey.
