All at Joeys Alumni are deeply saddened to learn of the death of past pupil and Year Contact, Frank Byrne, from class of 1959. Our deepest condolences to Frank’s family and friends, particularly with Frank passing so soon after his, wife Joan, just over a week ago. Frank was key in getting his classmates to our annual dinners and will be sorely missed. He played with the very successful 1959 Joey's Gaelic football team, winning the 1959 Leinster & Ireland Collages Senior Football Championship (and was inducted into Joey’s Hall of Fame in 2009).
