Barbara & Family, I’m so sorry to hear that my old buddy Frank or as I affectionately knew him in the FMH - Percy! We had many great times in those carefree days and our Sunday morning pints in the Wig & Pen! Frank was a soft spoken gent, droll and caring and always up for a laugh. I’m sure he’s entertaining the old FMH crew up above and while he will be greatly missed, I’m so happy he’s now at peace. Go raibh suaimhneas go deo ag a anam dílis.

Frank was a rare gem, a true gentleman. Frank was a calm & reassuring presence on our road. He always had time for people, a chat or a laugh (with his quick wit) or a brief history lesson. We will miss him. Rest in peace Frank. Our deepest condolences to dear Barbara Tonya & Darren.

Frank was a man full of nuance and character. Though we only met at family gatherings, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. He always had time for my brothers and I, and emanated engagement and enthusiasm to talk about our family lineage. I only wish I had spent more time with him. My deepest sympathies go out to Barbara and Frank’s close family.

The world has lost a great man in Frank. He was a force to be reckoned with, especially when it came the Poole’s family history. His passion for research and willingness to impart knowledge was inspiring to many. His collections of reference material were instrumental in building an online presence for the Poole Family. Many will remember his contributions to recent documentaries from Easter Rising Stories. Without Frank, those would not exist. We are heartbroken, but thankful for Frank and all that he did for us. We send our deepest condolences to his wife and family, and direct positivity and prayers to them at this time.
