Proinnsias was a gentleman. I always loved chatting with Prionnsias when I met him online during COVID and in the Club on Harcourt Street. I only met him a handful of times but he made a big impression. He was full of interesting knowledge on the sea and nature and his smile was never far from his face.

Frank was really talented in so many ways, friendly, generous and a lovely person with geat appreciation of humour. I have very happy memories of him sailing with me, many years ago.

I've so many very special memories of Frank and living in Spencer villas ,Frank was always so kind and welcoming and Jennifer was his soul mate ,love always leisa,🙏🙏

Frank, Hugo and I spent many happy years together as children swimming in Dun Laoghaire baths, fishing out of Bulloch Harbour and getting up to all sorts of mischief. We were pretty much inseparable.

May the memories of happy times together give Jennifer, Hugo and all his other siblings the strength and consolation to overcome the loss felt due to Frank's absence.

Such a kind and knowledgeable person and so looking forward to the trips to Kerry and Donegal that he had planned for during the summer. A sudden death makes it all the more difficult to cope and we are thinking of all who knew and loved Frank/Proinnsias and wishing you all much strength in the difficult time ahead. Petra and I met Frank years ago in the hospital when he was visiting my father Deasún, who died a few days later. He brought Deasún communion and, most of all, solace in the Irish language that he treasured so much. We know his presence and his prayers brought my father much comfort.
