Frank KELLY

I was one of Frank's Classmates in the Cadet School and met him on several occasions thereafter in the course of our career. I was shocked to learn of his untimely deasth and made immediate arrangements to attend the funeral. However, my own health took a worrying turn for the worse and I was prevailed upon by concerned classmates, not to travel. I regret that I could not attend the final farewell in person so I take this opportunity to express my sincere condolances to Frank's family and friends and to re-assure everyone that Frank was dearly loved by all of us

I was deeply saddened to hear of Frank's death. When I was a junior officer under his command in Athlone I learnt allot and I had an immense amount of time for him. He taught me to have more courage in my convictions and not let a problem slide especially when it could be handled promptly.

Frank was always a great character at family gatherings. My condolences to Aidan and Susan. <3

Frank was my brother in law. I have great memories of him teaching me maths and the guitar. And I teaching him to drive in Limerick all those years ago. Could never beat him in snooker.

Fank was a very, very kind and decent man. When I first got to know him he was incredibly patient and tolerant of the young pup that I was. He was someone you were glad and privileged to know.
