I was sorry to hear the passing of Frank. We served for many years as committee members of the Cork Business and Shipping League. Frank was the league Treasurer many years he was also rep for Cork Examiner soccer club.Teams in the league compete for the Frank Linehan Cup.

Memories of Frankie go back to the late ‘50s and early ‘60s when I’d called into the Dispatch to see my father. A friend then, he remained so all through my working life in the office. Simply, no kinder gentleman you could wish to meet.
