Sincere sympathy on Frank's untimely death. I knew Frank in the 1980's when he was stationed at Terenure Garda Station and I was attached to Rathmines.
He was a lovely friendly character and a true gentleman.

Frank and myself soldiered together in the P District and I had the privilege of living with him for a week or two on some operation outside of the DMA. We had a great time and often reminisced about it in the Sandford years later. You were a gentleman and the world is colder for your passing. Sincere sympathy to all.

I’m so sad to have heard of Frank’s untimely death. May he Rest In Peace. I knew Frank from his days in Terenure Station and subsequently. He was a lovely man and a good friend. I last met him in the Sandyford Inn about 6 years ago where we enjoyed a pint together. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time

Only heard of Frank's death last week. I remember Frank, a gentleman. I drove the Patrol Car in Terenure in the early 80s, Frank was often bo observer.
He always had a good story to tell. I offer dropped him home.

Sincere condolences to Frank’s family and friends. I worked with Frank - 33P in Terenure in the 80s. When we went out on the beat we didn’t get too far as Frank knew so many people. He’d always wave and say hello to them. He was always in good form and he’d make you laugh. So many great memories. I bet he’s entertaining them in heaven now. I have such fond memories of growing up with the McCann’s as a young lad in Butterfield Close and spending time in Willowbank with Bernie and Frank looking after us.

My late parents Danno and Carmel also had great gra for all the McCann’s.Though this is such a sad time for you guys,it’s also a chance to reflect on all those happy memories and I hope those memories will sustain you in the difficult days and weeks ahead.
