It is with great regret and sadness to learn of the recent passing of Frank Minogue. Sincere and deepest sympathy to Frank's wife Dympna and all his family, To all of the Minogue family and extended families ,To Frank's sibling's, Davy, Sean May, Anne, and Phil and his brother in Law Joe Buckley, remembering you all at this sad time for the Minogue family.
Rembering Frank Minogue over my lifetime growing up in the old Batteries, as a member of one of the best known and respected families of Athlone in the 50's 60's to the present time, as great family friends, neighbours and colleagues over a lifetime. Rembering Frank going to school, and his return visits over many years, his very pleasant and quiet nature, his good will, and in particular as a member of the great St Peter's choir of the late 50's' 60. Frank in included in the Greatand unique photo of the choir in 1963 following the RTE recording of Handell's "Hallelujahia Chorous" under the direction of choir organist Mary Dale. The recording was played on RTE at christmas time over many years ,and remains in the RTE archives.
