Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Frank Murray. Thank you for all that you did for Irish music. Rest in peace Frank.
I heard of Frank Murrays passing On a cold Christmas Eve in Paris His humour, engagement and sense of wonder made a real impression. Condolences to his family and close friends.
Sincere sympathy to the Murray family.
I knew him since Skid Row days...almost 50 years ago. He learned about the international music business as Thin Lizzy's Tour Manager. He was also Tour Manager for The Specials and Elton John. Frank was able to combine his love of Ireland with his knowledge of the music business when he became The Pogues manager. No one else could have managed The Pogues. In 1999 my son died. Frank broke the news to me. I was devastated and was in a terrible state. Frank looked after so many things for me at that time. I will be eternally grateful for all his help during the worst time in my life. He was great company, very funny and passionate. He loved all aspects of The Arts but more than anything he loved his family. He will be missed by so many.
It was a privilege to know Frank, his big smile was infectious. R.I.P Frank. Xxx
Sincere condolences to all the Murray family.
