Sincere sympathy to the Murray family on the passing of Frank. I have nothing but the happiest of memories of Frank , a kind and gentle man, when we soldiered together but on opposite sides of the debate while part of the Commission on the Rationalisation of The VECS ,not to mention our lively and entertaining discussions on the Dubs V Kerry .
I just learned of the death of Frank. My friendship with Frank goes back to the 1980s when he participated in various Health Education projects. I worked with Frank on many projects in education and have very happy memories of those times. He was so effective because he was full of warmth , energy and fun and saw the best in everybody. He was the go to man for tickets to Croke Park and I can never forget 1998 when Frank got us tickets to see Galway’s great win ! He is a great loss but will be remembered fondly by everybody he encountered throughout his life.

My deepest sympathies to the Murray and Muldoon families on death of Frank (my lovely uncle). I have so many lovely memories of Frank, as have my children. He had an amazing knack of making everyone he met feel very welcome and special. He had a mischievous twinkle in his eye and passed on his love of sugar lumps. He even managed to convince my youngest daughter that she didn’t really want a rabbit and that a micro-pig would be much better!
I was so sorry to hear of Frank's death. Frank was Principal of St. Mark's Community School when I was Principal of the Junior School.
He was a wonderful colleague and friend during those years and for many years since.
Because he was such a warm, caring person we always felt the children from St. Mark's Primary School were welcomed into a happy and nurturing environment.
My deepest sympathy to Barbara,Michael, Catherine and Conor.

To the Murray family my deepest sympathy on losing your greatly loved family member Frank. As a Steward in Croke Park I came in contact with Frank. What stood out about Frank who was a Supervisor Steward was his kindness, generosity & his ability to relax new Stewards. These abilities were in addition to his great humour & he loved the bit of craic. Frank was popular with all. It's no wonder he was such good & hugely respected Educationist. The one mystery I could never solve is when Kerry were playing he never missed an important part of the action, without losing sight of his Supervisory duties. You will be missed. To his family I can but say "to live in the hearts of those we love is not to die"
Very sorry to hear of the death of Frank. He was the principal of St. Mark’s school in Tallaght when my two sons were there. He was a brilliant principal and and completely dedicated to bringing out the best in all students under his care. A gentleman and a good human being.
He is now reaping his reward in heaven.
May he rest in peace.

Frank was a true Ciarraíoch. I always learned from our meetings - official and personal - as Frank was an unassuming gentleman, who was ‘hard on the task and soft on the person’.

Dear Catherine, My sincere sympathies to you and your family on the death of your dear dad Frank. He offered me a part time position in St Mark's back in the '80s, my first job offer in fact, and although I went further down the road to start my teaching career, I will always remember that phone call. Shortly afterwards I realised you and Ciara were buddies at Beaufort. It's a small world. Your dad had a superb career in education, but was first and foremost your beloved dad, who no doubt influenced your own career path. I'm sure he's very proud. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
