Sincere sympathy to Claire and family on Frank's passing RIP. I knew Frank since 1951 when we started in CUS. He was a great Rugby player and Cricketer in those days. He played cricket 🏏for the CUS Tavenors for many years. I would meet him at the CUS annual and Christmas dinners and he was always in good spirits.

I met Frank through work and was immediately struck by his enormous warmth and empathy. It was a pleasure to have even a brief conversation with him. My deepest condolences to all the family
Sincere sympathy to the Scott-Lennon family on the sad passing of Frank. May his gentle soul rest in the Peace of Our Lord.
I want to say "thank you" to all who chose texts, prepared, and carried out what was a most beautiful and moving funeral. I was in tears, especially during Frank's and Sinead's extraordinary testimonies and tributes. But I was close to tears throughout, as I could sense and picture Frank himself present at the heart of it. It was beautifully led, the songs were perfect, and it all carried a sense of completeness ... a fore-taste of the fullness of life that Frank himself, as the celebrant said, is surely enjoying at this moment. I can see Frank’s approving of this celebration of a big life, a humble reminder of who is ultimately in charge, the gentle mingling of reality, humour, affection and enormous conviction that were Frank’s and that he evoked in all who met him.
I found myself recalling special conversations I have had with Frank over the years - his was always a generous and genuine welcome, and an attentive and sparkling partnership in dialogue. His integrity called forth my own, as nothing less would do.
I realised during the funeral how much I loved Frank, and how grateful I feel for being counted among his friends ... He will have been hugely proud of you all, and grateful to you for giving such beautiful and eloquent expression to his special heart and soul ...

Claire I’m so sad to hear of Frank’s death. I have so many memories of working with him in the IMI and the fun we had in Arusha and in devising programmes. Always cheerful, amusing and encouraging and not afraid to be outrageous. A once off character who will be sorely missed but not forgotten.
Frank was a beacon of light in his executive educational work in the IMI and elsewhere. He brought a fresh, human-centred approach, with wit and wisdom. He led by example and encouraged all around him. He had an entrepreneurial spirit, and led many ventures with energy and passion. A great story-teller, he will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Sineady, Frank, Claire and all the Scott-Lennon family, all the Boyles are heartbroken for your loss. The Field Family has lost a true gentleman, and one of the world's kindest, most caring people. We have so many happy memories of Frank, from sports day captaining to cheerleader supervising, to cheery waves from the van next door as he did the washing up. Your Dad was always so generous with his time, so stoic and so interested and engaged with everyone he met. He touched so many lives and he will be missed by so many. We're especially grateful for the amazing support Frank gave Dad during his illness, they shared a deep bond that was a great source of strength and fortitude to Popa Boylie - we have no doubt they're reunited, putting the world to rights and watching over us all.. Holding you close and sending all the love and strength during this devastating time, as you were there for us. God bless, Frank, travel well..

There are a few people that I have met along the way that have made a big difference to my professional life. Frank is one of those whom I will always remember, being there for a few pivotal moments and guiding me in the right direction.
I also enjoyed our interactions when he needed his TV or broadband sorted, his feedback was always constructive.

From all at Virtual Office Solutions (VOS), but in particular myself and Tracy Kirkby, I wish to send our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the entire Scott-Lennon family – Claire, Sinead, and Frank, and to the many, many family members, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues (Laura and Mary) who are going to feel the huge absence and void that Frank has left behind as a result of his passing.
We had the immense pleasure of working with Frank, carrying out his transcription needs on an almost daily basis for the last several years, and we would always be expecting the latest ‘audio tape offering’ from Frank as we went about our day and he would always bring a smile to our faces. Frank was tireless, had huge energy and was always so giving of his time and wisdom and was just one of those special people who had immense integrity, loved people, his family, his work, and his spirituality, and we saw that month in month out through all our interactions with him.
Frank – it has been an absolute pleasure, I wish you nothing but joy, happiness and magic in your onward journey to no doubt greater and better things.
With every best wish, Bernie McCullough, VOS, Co. Louth
