Frank Sullivan (Mountain)

Deepest sympathies to Bride and all the family on Frank’s death. I have many happy memories of Frank in the Tennis Club and at Galf Chumainn Ghaeltarra golf outings. He was a gentleman. Rest in Peace Frank.

I am deeply saddened to read of Franks passing. When I was an unqualified, unskilled and unwise 18 year old Frank offered me a job without even meeting me. Bridie and Frank treated me with great respect despite me not being a very good labourer. Frank took me took the bank, signed for a considerable loan so I could start my own business. Career worked out for me but without Frank and Bridie life would have been much different. I remember in particular Franks unfailing sense of humour in situations that many would not have seen the bright side. As I was involved briefly in the building of Frank and Bridies family home I am especially grateful that it is still standing. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan.

Warm, generous, inclusive - Frank encapsulated all that. But the abiding memory will be of someone who was always great company, with an infectious laugh and a mischievous sense of humour.
