We were so sorry to have not heard about Franks passing. We remember Frank so fondly. As children he would always be so kind to us at the shop. I was so glad to have met him a few times over the last few years out for his walk. Always full of chat. An absolute gentleman. May he rest in peace. Brenda, Sharon, Leighanne and James Clarke

Rest in peace dearest Frank, wonderful friend and most special Grocer for over twenty years. May God reward you with the gifts you so richly deserve, Eileen Marrinan
So sad to hear that Frank has left us. He was a beautiful person - everyone in the locality has a memory of his goodness. I particularly think his kindness to an old neighbour, Esther Harnett. He made it possible for her to continue living at home as she got older, taking her to Saturday evening Mass, delivering her groceries - not forgetting her Buckfast Tonic Wine! May he rest in peace..
Deepest sympathies to the Wallace families on the sad passing of Frank. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Edel, Carmel, Fraser, Tony, Brendan, Maurice and extended family, Frank was an amazing man. Behind most good men, you’ll find a good woman! Ita was a marvellous woman too! And now they are reunited 💌

My sincere condolences to all the family. Mr Wallace holds a very special place in my memories of my childhood and my grandparents (Careys of Anville Drive). He is an immense loss to Kilmacud and to all who knew and loved him.
I have read many of the beautiful tributes here. I lived in Kilmacud for about 2 years in the mid 90s while in college. Frank's shop was a little oasis. Not only was it a great place for essentials but he always had time for a chat. There was always great banter about football with a bit of good humoured Meath - Westmeath rivalry. May he rest in peace
Your dad was a real gent and was so good to us growing up. He was always in great humour with a ready laugh, even when times were tough. An absolute tonic! We remember Frank, and your mum Ita, with lasting fondness and warm memories. Feels like the end of an era ...they don't make em like Frank anymore
