I wish to offer my sincere condolences to the wonderful Chute family, to Frankie’s family, and to the extended family and community in Listowel on the very sad and untimely passing of Frankie. She was an amazing hairdresser to us for many years, and I distinctly recall her doing a fantastic job for our Confirmation. Frankie was a superb professional who was greatly valued by her many loyal customers. She was ahead of her time and always so kind and welcoming to everyone who had the privilege of meeting her.

Sincere condolences to Marcella and the Chute family on the sad passing of Frankie. I remember Frankie hairdressing at College Cross so glamorous always. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Frankie was a big part of my childhood. She was always confident in herself and always found it easy to impart affection to those around her especially LaLa and her mum.She was the best looking and best singer who won many talent competitions in the variety shows that visited Listowel She was also the star of our TurfShed theatre shows we held in various houses in Church Street always held in the summer when the sheds were empty of turf The great Denis Keane was the producer director and prompter Frankie was the star of whatever play or variety show and they alwsys began with the song Theres no business like show business There was nobody like Frankie She was simply the best of us I was very proud she wzs my cousin God bless you Frankie

Deepest Sympathy to you Marcella your family and all the Phillips and Chute Families on the passing of Frankie. I spent many happy days up in college cross when Frankie worked side by side with her mother in their salon. It was a house that had an open door for everyone and no one left without a cuppa and what ever was on the table and I never came home hungry from there. Myself and Marcella spent many days out in the little shop where Lal her grandmother kept an eye on us knowing the sweets etc were a temptation. Frankie was a trojan worker as was Philomena and Marcella and their talents were passed down the generations. Marcella hang on to the happy memories that will bring you through these hard times now.
