My sincere condolences to the Coote family on the passing of Frankie. I met Frankie very briefly in 2011 when visiting Ireland from Australia to trace my Cleary ancestors from Barnanageeha. He was lovely man who kindly took the time to tell me about the Cleary family. I am sure he will be missed by many. Rest in peace Uncle Frankie.

I have such fond memories of meeting him on a regular basis during my morning walks. Once I reached Cootes corner, there he would be…. always busy, but never too busy to stop and chat! He never allowed me to pass without some sort of quip and we exchanged many pleasantries inside and outside the shop. The landscape changes when characters like him pass away.
He will certainly be missed.
