Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Fr. Cletus. Sadly I only briefly met him even though we were both born in Wood Quay. The Noone family were neighbours of our family. I fondly remember his sisters Maura and Bride. Cletus is now united with his parents and sisters. I am sure they are having a great laugh. The Noones have all left Wood Quay a sadder place. Rest in Peace.

I I remember my cousin Francis departing for Rome and returning, after a number of years as Father Cletus. When he visited us in Newcastle, we used to laugh the whole time as he was a natural entertainer. On the other hand, he was an exceptional Priest who was very kind and full of wisdom. Now he has joined his twin sisters, Maura and Bride. He officiated at my sister Maria's and my weddings. Condolences to his nephew John and his family and to his Franciscan confreres. You will never be forgotten Father Cletus RIP.

Sincere Condolences to the Grealish family and Friars and the many friends of Fr. Cletus Noone on his passing. Loved listening to his show Noone at night on Clare FM and with Chris Hanrahan beside him you were definitely going to have a sing song and a few jokes and Cletus' hearty laugh. He was a treasure and loved and respected by everyone who knew him. I remember asking him to christen my son Seán and didnt realise he had to get permission from the bishop which he did, we had a lovely service and beautiful photos to treasure for life and our meal was beautiful at the Auburn Lodge and then the jokes started between Fr. Cletus and Frank we had hours of laughter. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Fr. Cletus

So sorry to learn of Fr. Cletus’s sad passing. We remember his years in Killarney in the 70’s. A man of tremendous verve, joy, generosity and kindness which was evident in all his works and deeds, a priest of great faith whose example and leadership will be forever remembered. His absence and going leaves the world a poorer place and he will be missed by all he came to know in his long and fruitful life. We wish to offer our sincere sympathy to his beloved nephew John and his wife Deirdre and to the extended Noone families on their most grievous loss. May his gentle soul find eternal peace and happiness.
