So sorry to learn of Freddie's passing. He was just an incredible club man in Cork Con. I had the great pleasure of playing some matches with him but in the main witnessing the enormous time Freddie put into coaching the youth of the club. My deepest sympathies to all his family and the Cork Con family he was so proud of.

Fred gave so much of his time to others and inspired a love of rugby for a whole generation of boys in Cork.

Very sorry to hear the sad news. Fred coached us as kids in Con. I’m 40 now and have become lifelong friends with many of the guys from my time with him. Fred was a great fella who left a positive mark on so many of us.

We are both very sorry to see Fred’s passing. I knew Fred from childhood with Michael McCarthy and Brendan Daly from the Well Road and later on in Cork Con as he trained our boys Richard & Kieran who was went on to Pres and UCC with a love of Rugby.
Joan Madden along with her brother Tommy & Sean were good friends of Fred Casey and we all will miss a very special gentleman

A lot has been said about Fred to me he was a gent add that to his commitment to rugby especially Cork Constitution
