We are deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Dad and Grandad, Fred. A gentle and softly spoken soul with a very bright sense of humour, Fred was full of life and always had a charming and funny story to share. We always enjoyed hearing Cassie’s tales of his antics and witty jokes—his cheeky humour never faded. The special bond between them, despite the 66-year age gap was truly something, a bond and friendship that everyone would only wish to have with a grandparent.

We imagine him now, enjoying a Guinness and port wine up there, head of the table, raising a glass to you all. Rest easy, Fred; you will be dearly missed by those lucky enough to have known you.
