Condolences to you all on the loss of Fred. A wonderful age to reach.
We are saddened that we will no longer hear the stories and music from #14 - Fred had great stories to tell and loved sitting in the sunshine telling them. My earliest memories go back to when we were very young kids, cycling over to Robertsons shop, with our pocket money, and annoying both your very patient parents with penny sweet choices that took longer than the cycle there!
We were fortunate when Fred and Gwinnie became our neighbours in the 80's! He so generously made a magical wooden clock for me as our wedding present 22 years ago. He taught our then young Rachel about his birds in his amazing aviary in the garden. He was a wonderfully entertaining man who lived a long and interesting life.
RIP Fred.

Dear Ken, Stuart and Joy,
We are all so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Freddie. I have so many fond memories of him and his great stories over the years, along with a couple of wood carving mementoes! When I was over in August, I paid a visit to him with my Mum, Georgie and Honor, and he told us great stories of his soccer playing days. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Fred's death. No doubt you will all miss him greatly.
Many the breakfast I shared with Fred sitting in the his kitchen waiting for the papers to start my paper-round. He taught me about stocks and shares, particularly mining shares. He was a lovely man, much liked by my father, Noel. May Fred rest in peace

We have the fondest memories of Fred and Gwen when they had their busy, but friendly and welcoming, neighbourhood shop on Bellevue Avenue. It was the ‘go-to’ place to buy a child’s birthday 🎁
Fred enjoyed a long and active life. May he rest in peace.
