Deepest Condolences to Moni and Jenny. Friedel was a true gentleman who touched so many lives. He was a great friend and an incredible chef, always ready with cooking tips and sharing his love for food. He truly enjoyed life to the fullest and spoke so warmly of his family - Jenny and his Liebchen Moni, friends, and Ireland. Monika and Jenny,
I was so sad to hear about Friedel’s passing. I have a lot of lovely childhood memories of the man with the car whose steering wheel was on the wrong side. And was lucky enough to get a few lifts to school where if you were a passenger, you were singing, and you weren’t singing, you couldn’t be a passenger.
Thinking of all of you at this difficult time.

Sincere sympathy to Monika, Jenny and family on Friedel's passing. I have very fond memories of him coming in to my Dad's shop on Bridge Street many years ago. In later years I would meet him in Dougie's shop where he would talk about recipes as he loved to cook. One of life's true gentlemen, it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered.
