our sincere sympathies Mary Nigel and the extended Newell family Fred was one of life's true gentlemen and always a pleasure to chat to. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
My sincere condolences to Fred's family. I played bowls with both Fred and Ann at Holy Trinity Killiney indoor bowling club for many years.
What a pleasure it has been have known Fred as a colleague and friend ever since I joined Probus Dun Laoghaire Marine in 2001. A true gentleman and delightful company. In 2006, he was President of Probus and a very able one at that.

May Fred now rest in well-earned peace.
