Dear Freddie, my heart is heavy all week following the news of your passing. From the moment I met you I was struck by your beautiful energy, kindness and empathy. You were unique! We were so sad to hear of Freddie's passing. She was such a kind and gentle soul. She lived with us when she first moved to Ireland and, from the very start, she was simply part of our family.

Freddie would always arrive with cards and presents for my children - last time we saw her was at my daughter's Christmas Choir fundraiser in Stephen's Green and, as always, she arrived with a big bag of chocolate Santa's for them.
