I was sorry to hear of the sad passing of Fred Ranson. Fred was a great help to me when I was Principal of CBS James Street in Dublin 8. With his experience of inner city schooling he was able to come and talk to the staff in James Street and share with them resources he had assembled from his own time working in disadvantaged schools. Many thanks Fred. It was a pleasure to have known you.
