The impact that one individual can make in a short life is clearly evidenced by the outpouring of sympathy for you, Freya's family, on her untimely and awfully sad passing. I was fortunate to witness a glimpse of her impact recently at a Templeogue Synge Street event which was powerfully moving. There are no words that I can think of to comfort your awful loss.

My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you, Emma and Aidan, as well as to Louise, Lauren, and Conleth.

I am writing on behalf of the school community to offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Freya who died following a long illness which was bravely borne. In particular, I should like to extend our deepest sympathies to Emma and Aidan as well as to Louise, Lauren, and Conleth, and other members of the immediate and extended family.

We recall with pride and affection the contribution that Freya made to the life of The High School during her time as a pupil here. Her cheerful and positive demeanour was complemented by a capable, conscientious, and determined approach to curricular and extra-curricular activity alike. We remain grateful for her kind and courteous example in engaging with all those who encountered her and who now mourn her loss to the school community.

It will undoubtedly be a very difficult and painful time for family and friends both now and in the immediate future. However, you may be assured that we will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers at The High School whilst wishing you every strength and comfort during the months and years ahead.
