Liebe Gudrun, lieber Björn, lieber Felix und ganze Familien.
Herzliches Beileid zu eurem Verlust. Es war immer sehr schön Frieder zu sehen. Beinahe hätten wir uns auch mal gesehen in Irland, aber an dem Tag hat es wohl doch nicht geklappt. Wir wünschen euch ganz viel Kraft in der traurigen Zeit.

Liebe Gudrun und Familie,
als ich die Todesanzeige von Frieder gelesen habe, hat mich das sehr traurig gemacht.
Ich möchte Dir und der ganzen Familie mein tiefes Mitgefühl ausdrücken.
Ich werde Frieder für immer als einen lieben, sehr herzlichen und fröhlichen Menschen in Erinnerung behalten.

Dear Gudrun and Family, Frieder was a very special person and we had many special times together. Such fond memories from the KFA, Puffendorf, Bloemfontein, Natures Valley, Musina, and many more. Once asked why we were laughing so much, he responded immediately “because we are enjoying what we are doing”. RIP Frieder and all our love, Gudrun and Family, Johan and Mercia.

So sorry for your tremendous loss. When I left Ireland to return to Scotland you were in. Germany and so our paths have not crossed awhile. I will always carry fond memories of Fritz’s enthusiasm and hospitality and glad to know he chose Irish soil to be buried in. Lots of love to you all. May he rest in peace

Dear Gudrun,
We are very saddened indeed to hear that your beloved Fritz has passed on.

My daughter, Móirína, and I first met the two of you many years ago, at a music session. Your lovely granddaughter was with you that night and you played and sang so beautifully. We all enjoyed a wonderful evening of music and friendship...and a wonderful friendship it was from that very first encounter. From then on, everywhere we met Fritz and you, we were greeted with the warmest of smiles and the friendliest hello.

You were indeed a very special, loving couple and a wonderful family. As we offer you, and all the family, our heartfelt sympathy, we pray now that in time, your many golden memories together, will sustain you.

Deepest sympathy to you Gudrun and to all your family on the sad passing of your beloved Fritz. I knew you both from Shanaglish singers club and you were always a lovely friendly couple. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Very saddened to hear this news. Our lovely friend Fritz passed away quite unexpectedly a few days ago. He and his wife Gudrun adopted Shanaglish as their Irish home after leaving their German one. They had a great love and appreciation for Irish traditional music and songs, especially at Christmas time they would have a beautiful Christmas party celebration of music, carol singing and delicious refreshments at their home.
They were part of the Shanaglish community and they had many friends. They were very supportive and generous to many charities.
Fritz will be sadly missed.
