May Fr. Paul Rest in Peace! We lived together in the Zambian novitiate for nearly two years in the 1970s. A great friend & Jesuit! My condolences to his family, fellow Jesuits, & friends.

What a lovely person. I was honoured to spend time with Paul when he lived in Galway. I cherish his wisdom and his compassion, as well as his droll humour. Deepest condolences to all who loved him. He has a place in my heart. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I came to know Fr Paul in Galway through his involvement with the Legion of Mary and after that we kept in touch, even when I went to the seminary. After I was ordained and returned to Galway I would meet him regularly. He was a kind and wise man. His wealth of experience and wisdom did not get in the way of his ever personal and interested attitude. He was the soul of a good pastor. May he rest in his eternal reward now.

Sincere sympathy to Fr. Paul's family and the Jesuits Community. Fr. Paul always had a pleasant demeanor about him and regular attendees at the 11am weekly Mass were sad when he left Galway to spend his final years in Dublin. Beannacht Dia ar do anam dílis a Athair Paul.

So sorry to hear that Fr. Paul has crossed the threshold into eternal life but happy that his suffering is over. He was a wonderful person, filled with wisdom and goodness. I always felt the better of a chat with him. No doubt, Fr. Paul is now enfolded in God's loving embrace, together with all who have gone before him. May you, his family and loved ones, be comforted at this time of loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
