Sympathies to the family at this difficult time. My late mother an Offaly woman, loved to chat to Gabriel whether she met him in Tesco or in town. The hurling banter and chat would be in full flow. He was always smiling and never in a rush. In more recent years, he would have a chat and a smile for my own children when we met him in Ennis. He will be sadly missed. RIP Gabriel

Sincere sympathy to the Moylan family on the death of Gabriel. We first got to know him while shopping in Quinnsworth many years ago. Our children loved him, he always had a smile for them, something nice to say and he always lifted all our spirits. Over the years we met him around town and his demeanor never changed. He cheery outlook and good humour were always there. We would meet him regularly even in recent times in and around Insomnia and were always the better for seeing him. It is so sad that he is gone. May Gabriel rest in peace.
